The Story:

In 2016, I started developing an idea I had for a film. In this film, memes are illegal. You cannot make or possess image macros under any circumstances and doing so will result in your incarceration. I brought together many talented writers, actors and film people to make this idea a reality. Months were spent developing the script with myself, Joe Aguirre, and Scott Friend. We then cast the film, and started shooting. Then months were spent editing the film, and the film was marketed on multiple social media channels, including an Instagram meme page. The film was released on October 11th, 2018 at the Ross Theater in Lincoln, Nebraska to a modest audience of about 50+ and a second showing on November 8th at Andersen Hall on the UNL campus.
